Any govac 508 users in the house?
How has been your experience? The good, the bad, the ugly.

Howdy folks!

Like the title says looking for comparison/experience/recommendations on either of the two vaccum. Costco has both on sale, Dreame govac is slightly expensive.

First time buyer. I have absolutely no experience with robo vaccums. Appreciate any and all help i can get to make this decision.

Timeline :

• Case Received: Jan 5, 2026
• Biometrics: Jan 28, 2026
• Original Interview: March 17
• Rescheduled Interview: May 4 (due to travel)

Interview experience :
The Chatsworth staff is generally friendly. I’d visited twice before for my Advance Parole (AP) documents.

The interview was smooth. Two officers were present (one supervising). They stuck to the I-130 and I-485 forms with some moderate, standard cross-questioning—nothing "crazy" or overly personal. I submitted my supplemental documents (joint financials and photos) right at the start.

The Vetting Hold
Before even starting, the officer clearly said, not to keep the expectations high on the approval timeline, because of the new security vetting process. Even with an interview approval, the case is stalled until the security vetting clears.

Apparently the system is getting a "refresh" and she verified my biometrics haven't been moved yet to the new database. They do not have a timeline yet. She assured me that I won't have to redo the biometris, but my lawyer thinks otherwise.

Overall everything went great, the officer seemed content too. Post interview she congratulated us few times, which felt like a great sign—now it's just a waiting game for the system sync, which I suspect might take a while.

Edit: I received a letter of continuance from the officer (attached), which basically says the case is being held for review, no action needed from me and I have to wait at least 4 months before making an inquiry.
