A Few Questions Regarding Travelling London to Amsterdam

Hey folks, I had a few questions that would help me settle my plans for travel and was hoping you knowledgable folks might be able to help;

  1. How much time should you plan for when arriving, is it like an airport where a few hours prior to departure is advised? One of my current options is the earliest train direct to St Pancras which would get me in at 5:42am with a Eurostar departure of 6:16am. I assume this is too tight of a turn around which leads me to my next question...

  2. At London St Pancras would it be possible to wait there overnight for the early Eurostar? If I were to get the last train the previous day which gets me in at 1:43am, is the station open for somewhere I could just sit and read until my train in the morning?

  3. It seems that the Eurostar isn't running between Amsterdam and Brussels on the date that I am meaning to return, is it much faff to go from Amsterdam Central > Airport > Brussels then hop on the Eurostar from there? Any complications I should be wary of for making such a diversion?

Appreciate any answers folks can provide!
