Hi all, I’m currently working on a project to deliver few IT stuffs from our Singapore office to Malaysia as the regional team being relocated here. The items ranging from laptops, hard drives, and docking stations which are only used for commercial purposes.
As these items are not brand new, it presents a challenge for me to assign value to it for import duty and customs clearance. Additionally, I am not well versed into the process for cross-border shipping.
I’m seeking any advice if anyone here has experience dealing with similar situations. What would the process like, and what permits are required to import these items? How much is the usual permits and customs fee? Anyone knows any agent that provides these door-to-door deliveries?
