I know that title is long, but recently, I've found out that my bf's friend (let's call him John) has been faking a relationship with my boyfriend to his online friends.
I found out 2 days ago when I saw a screenshot from a discord server of my bf's friends that he invited me to. The screenshot was basically John's friend (let's call her dina) venting about how she was tired of being single. John agreed with her and shared his frustrations about being single, too.
Dina was confused since apparently John had been keeping up this fake relationship for 1 YEAR. I don't know if all he did was lie to her through words only or if he sent fake pictures of them together, but seeing how mad Dina was that John lied to her like that made me feel mad too.
That's MY boyfriend, I'm HIS girlfriend! I know guys have this thing where they like to joke about "being in love with the homies," but it's like he was serious about it!!
Another reason I am this angry is because when I make funny jokes like that to my friends, like playfully calling them darling or making gay jokes, he gets super mad and tells me it's like cheating. Yet he's here totally fine with his friend telling other people they're DATING.
He also makes jokes with his friends about screwing them in the ass or jerking them off, yet he gets jealous of me hugging my friends because he says, "It's too intimate." DAWG. As I'm writing this, I see another notification of him saying he's gonna have an orgy with his other friend (let's call him dave).
I'm just so tired of feeling like his friends don't like me, I've brought this up to him before, but he's said they're just playing with me. I'm also realising how much he's distanced me from my friends because of him constantly talking about how my friends are being too touchy with me.
So now I ask, AITA?
