Back of drill hit bonding

Hi all!

The other day I got a dental implant post put into my jaw and during the procedure, the back end of the drill rested on a heavily bonded front tooth two different times. Upon inspection, I noticed a couple divets on the tooth. I went to my dentist and he didn’t seem convinced the surgeon caused any damage and I trust my dentist. I’m overly anxious about things touching my front teeth because of the bonding. His opinion was basically “I could fix this for you if you want but it looks fine , there’s no reason to.”

It’s very possible the little nicks were there and I just didn’t notice until the drill made me panic.

My question is , can the back ends of drills do damage on bonding? I’m getting mixed answers on google.

I trust my dentist so I’m gonna leave it alone. I def don’t want to be that person causing a fuss if it’s just my anxiety.

Thanks!

Edit: middle/back of drill. Not the drill bit
