Does our very first move count as a QLE? I want to switch from Tricare Prime to Select

I hope that is the case. I had 2 bad experiences trying to book with doctors who accept Tricare Prime. Never ended up going (one canceled day of!) and just continued seeing my usual doctor

We are moving 16 hours away from home. I have severe ADHD and have been taking medication for it for a few years now. According to the pharmacies local to our new base, my doctor cannot send over Schedule II drug prescriptions since he is not licensed in the new state.

I have heard that Tricare Select is better and easier to deal with and would like to switch over as soon as we move if it is possible.

The biggest puppy sub fcking sucks and some of their suggestion genuinely break my brain

Raising a dog is really not that complicated. The dog should learn to live with you, as much as you should learn to live with them. Sure, puppy blues are a thing but you dont have to suffer them for months.

If a puppy bites, train/tell them to stop it. At 6 months old that behavior should be OUT. Your dog should not feel comfortable putting their teeth into humans at that age, bigger breeds can cause real pain and harm at that age. If redirection isnt working, DIRECT.

These passive and avoident methods are doing way more harm than good. Fucking do better. There are many simple solutions to problems i see posted on that sub, yet the commenters and rules only allow for passive and indirect training.

I have been an animal person my entire life. I trained my first dog at 12 years old, she is now almost 14 and absolutely adored by everyone in my circle and extended family. Perfect offleash, well mannered around all animals, including cats and chickens. Minds her business around other dogs. I have had a natural draw to animal behavior my entire life, im always reading their behavior - intentionally or not

That said, many dog owners I encounter these days dont know how to train or talk to their dogs at all. And I cant help but judge them. My dog, while off leash and naturally in a heel, and i will walk past the most "reactive" dogs and I dont see their owners intervening in any significant way. I would be so embarrassed in their shoes. Oftentimes the best fix in this scenario is a correction and to move along, but it really seems like that skill is extremely lacking for these owners.

The owners often just sit or stand there, maybe half-ass a command with a treat, while their dog is full on coming at us with barred teeth. My dog will move to the other side of me as soon as she sees this, and we keep on moving.

If you dont work with your dog in an off leash/long leash scenario from a young age, you are setting both of you up for failure. I could play fetch with my girl in a field full of distractions and she would still come back to me.
