Ive found a way for crossover/steam running via crossover to accept your input from the new steam controller. It’s a little bit of a hack but it works quite well for me.

1. Enable Remote Play on your Steam Client (Not the native one, the crossover one)
2. Download and Set up Steam Link on your mac
3. Connect to your Steam Crossover Runtime via Steam Link
   That’s baaasically it. The steam link app forwards the steam input data from your controller, steam will actually show a connected steam controller and not treat it like a mouse and keyboard. Hope that helps someone if it hasn’t been brought up yet :>
