I was actually looking forward to the rollout of pipsqueak 2, the original was mostly good, it had its problems and I hoped that 2 would be the original but better. After using 2 on multiple bots today and yesterday, my experience with chatting has been so much worse.
I actually feel like I’m talking to an AI now, like ChatGPT is trying to roleplay a character but cant escape its own mannerisms. I’m getting a lot of “Not —, not —, but —.”, and so much description and flavour text that the bot just doesn’t use dialogue.
I find myself having to read through a massive chunk of… nothing, just filler really, only to find it boring and generating a new reply only for that to be boring too.
I know it’s only just rolled out, so hopefully they fix it (especially the bot not using dialogue), but they’ve got a lot to tweak for sure
