Hello, taking this here as a last resort. I contacted CK support and have tried every number of Citi’s.
I was told by credit karma I had great odds of approval, guaranteed. I am aware this isn’t affiliated with Citi and doesn’t actually guarantee anything.
I follow the link to the browser, fill out the application, and get approved for a little over 5k limit. Great! I wanted to balance transfer a high APR balance from Discover so that it doesn’t accrue interest during the school year. This limit was fine for that. It asked for the account number to balance transfer from and I went to look for it in my discover account. The Citi website refreshed and kicked me out. Tried to log back in, as I was JUST approved and have all my transfer account information, and want to now continue setting up my balance transfer. Nope doesn’t exist. I go back to credit karma to try to continue from there, it brings me back to filling out my information. It says i’m denied? I leave Citis website and check back on CK, says continue application, chance of approval poor, no CK guarantee.
I don’t understand how I was approved for my limit after applying, and in the process of doing my first balance transfer, to then my account doesn’t exist and I was denied, all due to the website refreshing?
Neither support has helped and I physically can’t even talk to Citis because my account apparently doesn’t exist.
