In the Handgun Production Division rules there is written this: "Aftermarket springs are permitted, provided they are in the same configuration as original."
My question is, what does "same configuration" mean? Does it include the weight/tension of the spring? Or just that it has to be the same mechanical design and type of spring?
Because I bought a lighter recoil and hammer spring, thinking that what matters is the trigger pull weight, and if I have it more or equal to 5lb, I should still be good for the production division but this rule which I now discovered makes me question that.
I asked AI this question, and it said that the rule doesnt inlcude the weight/tension but I am not sure if I entirely trust AI, thus why I am asking here.
Thanks for any insight
