In playing the spore strain, I've felt that I would so much love a thorns build. Not so much to be a hard counter, but something that would kind of bolster a melee build.
Something where it would kind of only work if you had heavy armor but you would also kind of need to have a supply pack for extra stim maybe?
Maybe the thorns could be an electrical zap if something attacks you. Nothing super major, but something that might stun them a very short time and do a little bit of damage just enough for you to make your melee option valuable as an AOE.
In my dreams it would be something like an armor that has 75 electrical resistance and extended stim time. I just think it would be so cool to drop a Tesla Tower, stand there with a hammer or a sword and just let them walk at you while you sit there and cut shit down.
