[F4F] The Wrong Kind of Attention (Dark Romance)

“Is it true?” Muse A’s friend whispered as they finished cleaning up for the night. “Is it true that you’re dating Muse B?” she questioned, which only made Muse A laugh as she placed the last chair on the table.

“Jeez… word travels fast, I see,” Muse A teased lightly as she moved over to the counter.

“But yes,” she smiled. “For almost a mon,”

“You have to break up!” her friend nearly screamed, startling Muse A.

“B-break up? Why?” she questioned, confused, but her friend only shook her head.

“Look, I don’t know a lot, but one thing I do know is that chick is bad news.” Her friend attempted to warn her, but Muse A only rolled her eyes.

“Yeah, yeah…” she muttered.

“No, Muse A, I’m serious. I heard she’s involved with some really messed up people. Like… wake-up in an ice bath kind of people.” Her friend tried once more to warn her, but Muse A wasn’t having it.

“Yeah, and I’m the Easter Bunny,” she joked, which only seemed to annoy her friend further. “Muse A! Will you listen to me? Okay? I’m trying to help you. I heard the last girl Muse B dated ended up,” her friend had started, but then the sound of the diner door shutting suddenly filled the air, causing both of them to turn toward it.

“Sorry to interrupt,” Muse B whispered as she walked over to Muse A.

A slight smile formed on her face as she kissed the top of her girlfriend’s head. “Just came to take you home… you know how dangerous it can be at night,” Muse B murmured, her eyes slowly shifting toward Muse A’s friend.

“People taking advantage of the darkness to do unspeakable things to others…” she added quietly, her gaze never leaving the friend.“Also, I’d be really careful with repeating things like that,” she said sweetly. “You never really know who’s listening.” And with that, Muse B guided Muse A out of the diner.

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to read my prompt!

For this story, I’d really like to explore the toxic, chaotic, and emotionally intense relationship between Muse A and Muse B.

My idea for Muse B is that just like the friend warned she works for some very shady people. Mafia-level shady. Meanwhile, Muse A is just a sweet girl working herself to the bone trying to make ends meet.

For the first month of their relationship, everything is perfect. Muse B is attentive, loving, protective basically everything Muse A could want. But then the possessiveness starts creeping in. She begins blowing up Muse A’s phone asking where she is, texting nonstop, starting arguments for no reason, getting jealous easily, and slowly isolating Muse A from the people around her.

I’d love to really dive into this dark dynamic and see where it takes us. I’m open to pretty much any direction or ending, whether it turns out good, tragic, or somewhere in between.

(FxF Reupload) The Wanted Pirate and the Runaway Princess

“I’ll give you one hundred gold,” the princess offered firmly as she stood aboard the deck of the most dangerous pirate ship on the sea. “One hundred gold… and all I require in return is safe passage out of this kingdom.” Her eyes landed on the captain of the ship a woman the princess had heard countless stories about.

Stories that made grown men shiver at the mere mention of her name. “Do you know what you’re asking me, little flower?” the pirate asked as she slowly approached the princess. “You are a princess… an heir to the throne. Your king will stop at nothing to get you back.”

“My father can burn in hell for all I care,” the princess snapped back. To her surprise, the pirate smiled. “Fine…” the captain smirked. “I’ll grant you safe passage. But as you know, Princess, much like you, I am a wanted woman. So, I hope you don’t cause me any trouble.”

The pirate’s voice lowered into a whisper as she closed the distance between them. “I would hate to have to throw such a pretty thing overboard.”

For a brief moment, she simply stared at the princess before turning away and beginning to walk off. “You’ll bunk with me until we arrive, so unpack your things and,”

“I’m sorry… bunk with you?” the princess interrupted, confused. The pirate stopped and glanced back at her. “Well, if you’d rather sleep in the brig with my crew, then,”

“No!” the princess answered quickly. “Bunking with you shall be alright.” The pirate nodded once.

“Good. Then put your things away and find somewhere to be useful. If you’re going to tag along, you might as well pull your weight.”

And just like that, she was gone.

With this prompt, I’d love to explore a potential lesbian awakening story.

The idea is that the princess is fleeing her home kingdom to escape an arranged marriage to a prince. While most princesses would jump at the chance to marry royalty, this princess has always been different. She’s never looked at men with admiration or longing mostly annoyance. She doesn’t hate them; she simply doesn’t find them attractive.

But during her journey with the pirate, she begins experiencing feelings she’s only ever heard about in stories: her face turning bright red, her heart racing whenever the pirate gets too close, and constantly thinking about her even when she’s gone.

Of course, the princess initially believes something must be wrong with her, which I think could make for a really sweet story as the two of them slowly figure out what these feelings mean and what they mean to each other.

So! For this prompt, the story centers around two girls Muse A and Muse B. They’ve been best friends for as long as they can remember. They learned how to walk together, ride bikes together, and have been practically inseparable their entire lives… or at least, they were.

My idea is that when they both turned 18, Muse B was sent to jail over something that involved Muse A. No one ever knew exactly what happened, and most people found it hard to believe that Muse B would ever do anything illegal let alone hurt Muse A.

But she did… or at least, that’s what everyone believes. I’m thinking Muse B was imprisoned for about seven years before getting out early on good behavior. Which Muse A would have no clue about since immediately after Muse B was arrested and charged, her family packed everything up and moved away to start a new life.

And during those seven years Muse A never called, She never wrote, She just acted as if Muse B had never existed. Until one day. After coming home from work (or school), Muse A notices that a few things in her apartment seem… off. Nothing she could immediately pinpoint, but somethings had definitely been moved. Still, she was too tired to dwell on it. So she showered, ate dinner, and climbed into bed.

But just before she fell asleep, she suddenly felt someone climb on top of her.

Then, a voice one she hadn’t heard in years whispers “Miss me?”

And that’s all I have so far.

As for the backstory, my base idea is that Muse A and Muse B were secretly dating. Maybe Muse A comes from a well-respected, powerful family who didn’t approve of Muse B. So to separate them, Muse B was framed for something serious, serious enough that it even made Muse A question who she thought Muse B was. That doubt was what kept her from fighting for her… or even reaching out.

Eventually, though, Muse A learns the truth. She confronts her parents, only to be told that it’s all in the past and that there’s no reason to dig up old wounds. Reluctantly, she lets it go at least on the surface.

Until Muse B shows up. Now, she’s back, She’s found Muse A. And she’s determined to get revenge on the people who framed her.

The only problem?

After seven years… she’s still in love with Muse A.

And muse a is now forced to face a tough decision. does she still love muse b enough to help clear her name? Or should she let the past stay buried? Because doing so wouldn’t just mean reopening old wounds it would mean confronting a past she’s spent years trying to bury.

“Have you gone mad?!” the chieftain roared at his daughter. “You took our warriors and marched them to slaughter an entire kingdom just so you could what?! Have a princess?” He continued, as Muse B (MC) only shook her head, unfazed. “Not just any princess, Father…” she said, her voice steady, almost reverent. “But Muse A (YC), the most beautiful princess in all the lands.” The chieftain stared at her for a long moment, like he didn’t recognize the being standing in front of him anymore.

“For beauty…?” he repeated, slower this time, though he couldn’t hide the disbelief that was heavy in his voice. “You burn their lands, you spill blood, you drag our warriors into a war that will not end cleanly… for beauty?” He questioned.

And yet Muse B didn’t flinch. “Yes,” she said simply. The chieftain’s jaw then tightened. “Where did I go wrong with you….” He asked the question out loud, as a pause then settled in the room. “Father, you didn’t see the way she looked at me,” Muse B started to explain, “she didn’t look at me like I was a monster, or like I was something to fear.” Her fingers curled slightly at her sides. “She looked at me like I was… real.”

And with that simple sentence, it had somehow shifted the entire mood in the room. Suddenly, the warriors that lined the room began to shift uncomfortably, as the chieftain stepped closer to his daughter. “She is (whatever race you want),” he said firmly. “A princess that was raised to be given away to strengthen alliances….. and you brought her into our world…. Where we spill the blood of those who call us weak, where we destroy the homes of those who look down on us. Do you honestly think she belongs in our world?” Her father had questioned, as Muse B’s gaze slowly lifted to meet his. “She doesn’t belong in theirs.” She deflected.

“That is not your decision to make.” He countered. “It is now.” The words came out faster than Muse B expected, causing her father to let out a sharp breath, showing just how much his anger had been simmering just beneath the surface. “How do you think this will end?” he asked. “You think her people will just… what, let this go? That they won’t come for her?” He questioned.

“They already tried.”

“And that was only the beginning, Muse B…. You took their princess, and you think they will just give up? This will start a war, Muse B.” Her father attempted to reason, and yet Muse B still chose to ignore his concern.

Muse B tilted her head slightly. “Good.” The word sat wrong in the air, like something unhinged had slipped through. “You welcome war now?” the chieftain snapped.

“I don’t fear it.”

“You would sacrifice the lives of our warban for her?” Her father questioned, which Muse B didn’t respond right away. Instead, she looked past him, toward the open entrance of the tent. “They were going to marry her off,” she started.

Her father frowned. “And?”

“To someone she doesn’t know…..to someone she doesn’t want.”

“That is how their kind secures peace.”

“It’s not right! She should chose for herself,” Muse B cut in. “She stood there,” Muse B continued, quieter now, but no less intense. “Dressed in gold, and treasures like it meant something… like it made it better.” Her expression darkened. “But she looked… empty.”

The chieftain watched her carefully now. “That does not give you the right,”

“I didn’t ask for the right!”

That stopped him. For a second… there was nothing.

“I took her,” Muse B said honestly. “And she didn’t run…. She didn’t reject me.”

A slight shift went through the room. The chieftain narrowed his eyes. “That is not the same as choosing, my dear….”

“No,” Muse B agreed. “But she will.”

There it was again. That certainty. That dangerous, unwavering belief. “And if she doesn’t?” the chieftain pressed.

“Then I’ll give her a reason to.” The words weren’t loud, they didn’t need to be. A few of the elders exchanged looks, unease creeping in. “You are not talking about freedom,” one of them muttered. “You are talking about possession.”

Muse B didn’t even look at him. “I crossed kingdoms for her,” she said instead. “I broke through their walls. I faced their armies.” Her gaze shifted back to her father. “I’m not letting her go.” Muse B declared, as her father searched her face again, harder this time, looking for doubt or hesitation. But there was none.

“…You would risk all of us for this?” he asked, as Muse B held his gaze. “Yes.”

The fire crackled between them, the only sound for a long moment. Then her father exhaled slowly, something heavy in it. “You’ve already brought her here,” he said, more as a fact than a question. Which made Muse B’s smile returned, faint but unmistakable. “Yes.”

“And where is she now?” He asked, as Muse B turned slightly toward the entrance of the tent, toward the deeper parts of the camp. “Somewhere safe,” she said. “With guards.” She added.

Making her father closed his eyes for a moment. “Of course.” When he looked at her again, his voice was quieter. “You’ve started something that won’t end, even if you decide to give her back.” He stated, as Muse B turned away from him. “I know…… but she’s worth it.” She announced.
