This 2023 Model 3 has ~10k miles on it.
Went to pick it up today and this was the condition.
$28k.
They didn’t say anything about it and I had to reject the vehicle. Not only that, I pointed out a (very large) nail/bolt as well.
They said they can’t do anything other than send it to the body shop and see if they’ll put new bumpers on. They ended up saying sorry, and that the vehicle doesn’t even meet their own internal threshold for resale and they gave us a mobile charger as an apology.
Going the route of transferring the order to a different vehicle.
The bummer was this was >2.5 hours drive each way to the Tesla site.
Thoughts? Anyone make any headway with Tesla making things right in the form of a replacement vehicle / discount?
Side note— I have two other teslas and have never had a bad experience with Tesla in any capacity other than this. My identical car with 70k on it looks brand new and this car in person looks like a 150k mile example. Maybe it was rented and abused, not sure.
