My 7 month old has been eating solids for more than a month now. He recently had his first solid poop and he was screaming while pooping. The poop was play doh texture, no pebbles, not dry.

After that I gave him some plums which made his poops loser again and he wasn't crying, but today he was playing and all of a sudden started screaming, crying unconsolable. I check his diaper and there's a big play doh turd again. 😅

Is he in pain while pooping or constipated? Or is it just the new feeling of having to push and something coming out that's been freaking him out?

He had dischezia when he was a newborn, if that can be connected. And it seems to me that firmer poops came both times after eating something with banana. How can I help him? Should I avoid bananas? Should I make sure his poops are looser or he just needs to get used to? I hate to see him cry like that, and hurting.

The baby is 7 months old. He recently grew the bottom two teeth. Today while eating, he bit and pulled my nipple scratching the whole side of the aureola and nipple with his sharp little teeth. It's bleeding and the pain was unreal. Half an hour later it still burns. I am terrified of it happening again and even more terrified of what will happen once his upper teeth grow.

What can I do to protect myself? I immediately yelled, it was an impulse. He got scared.
