as a Grantimal, I am over the moon to see my tall glass of milk on the box, like so many wheaties athletes and missing white children.

I just wanted to share how amazingly involved the crowd was for the show in Sayerville, especially for what I believe is my favorite song. Video quality as ass because I was more worried about taking the show in, but you can get the idea.

I dont think there was a moment (of a song) where there weren't at least 3 people crowd surfing, I was more than happy to launch a handfull of people up myself. Thanks to all who went, apologies to all who couldn't, and fuck you to one particular dude who stamped his heel on the bridge of my foot during Monkey Wrench, only bummer of the night

When I turned 16 I asked my mom if I could go to my first rock show, specifically the Foo Fighters. At the time FF weren't touring anywhere near us, so I excitedly "settled" on nosebleeds for Aerosmith. After busting her ass to get me and my loser friends tickets, I asked if my friend's dad could take us instead, (going anywhere with your mom being uncool and all.) Don't Wanna Miss A Thing was my damn lullaby, the lady loves Aerosmith, I've felt awful about for over a decade.

In 2022 I got a pass to some festival in Boston, hoping to finally see the Foos, my mom said "Oh, that Taylor Hawkins (gushing,) take me to see him someday!" Surely enough, Taylor Hawkins himself passes and FF obviously had to cancel their appearance, I ate the ticket cost and wallowed at home on pre-approved PTO.

Yesterday after a very uncertain 6 hours I got two tickets to the Starland show. I'm over the moon to finally be able to see the show that my younger self would have probably fainted at, in the small setting I used to imagine before I learned FF plays stadiums. And though I've got plenty of people in my life who'd love to see the Foos, you can bet your ass I'm bringing my mom.

after like ten minutes of excited questions she asks "Aw honey.. without Taylor Hawkins?" I told her they refused to play any other way.
