Kentucky, US. Identification help (More pics/info below).

Hi everyone, just curious if these were Native to Kentucky and if so how can I safety and ethically move their Hive to another location?

About 10-15 Worker/Foragers are flying around at anytime, living in this single piece of wood. The video contains two videos in one, in the second half you hear a “Barking” sound that I wasn’t sure would be pertinent to helping with ID.

At my In-Laws house who are also our next door Neighbors, the piece of wood is in their wood pile which they actively use/burn so I’m wanting to get it moved ASAP. Any and all help is appreciated!

(Edit) I should add they are the size of Honeybees maybe even possibly smaller.

Any help is appreciated! Zone 7A, Kentucky.

I cannot for the life of me find anything about this tiny little thing. Found while looking for Morels, only one I could find in the immediate area, plant is extremely flat, seems like some type of Fern maybe? Thanks for any help!
