2000 F250 4x4 (sadly automatic) 7.3 with 261xxx miles. It’s a southern truck made its way to Ohio. It’s super clean and I garage keep it and don’t drive in the winter. Had it for about a year now. It’s a great truck pretty much stock besides the TS6 tuner. This weekend im doing the 6.0 trans cooler upgrade because I installed a glow shift gauge and don’t like my trans temp when towing. My plan is to do a small lift and 35’s. But how much does that affect towing ? I only get like 14-15 mpg while empty and usually like 11-12 while towing. It’s sitting on 265’s right now. I know the bigger tires are gonna make the truck work harder while towing but is it stupid to put 35’s on a tow rig or am I good to go with this 7.3 ?
