For artists that have day jobs to support their art business in the side what are your day jobs? I’m trying to find a career that can help support my dreams of selling my own art!

I live in Texas and graduating with a degree in animation however towards the end of my degree I realized I wanted to switch paths and pursue art teaching. For awhile I was considering alternative licensure online but now I have the opportunity to go to grad school debt free. I’m just not sure if I should pursue an MA in art education or get an M.Ed which could potentially allow me to be a principal in the future if I really wanted to and also teach other subjects. Ultimately I really would love to be an art teacher but I also understand those jobs are hard to come by and it would be a good idea to certify in other subjects as well. What would be your recommendations? Is a masters of art education more worth it or an M.Ed? Would I be more marketable with a masters of art education?
I’m about to graduate with an animation degree (BA) but I’m not really interested in pursuing animation anymore. I’ve been thinking about being an art teacher but I’ve heard it’s competitive to find jobs. I’m not sure if it would be best to go back and get a BFA in art education or if I should go the ACP route. I haven’t taken any painting related classes but I’ve been painting and drawing my whole life. Even sold art at art fairs…. I’m worried that if I do ACP I’ll be passed up for someone who has a traditional art education major in the application process. What would you guys recommend honestly? I’m willing to work anywhere even charter schools or even in rural areas. I live in Texas if that helps.
Is there anyone that can do graduation photos on campus???
