Dead Space genuinely scares me

I have played other horror games that have creeped me out but I wouldn’t say I have actually felt scared while playing them or delving into the respective lore, that is until Dead Space

Everything about this franchise is just so fucking unsettling, the Necromorphs, the isolating feeling when you’re on the Ishimura, the fact that both your body AND your mind are under attack thanks to the Marker is probably the scariest part to me. It’s haunting watching what the Marker does to people, whether they are dead or alive

I remember that feeling of dread in Dead Space 2 when I saw the Ishimura again and then realising we had to go back there, I was like oh god no please, me and Issac have been through enough 😭🤣

I don’t get too sacred to the point where I can’t play through any of the games but that feeling of apprehension is always there. No other horror franchise has affected me this way before

I know people don’t think highly of the first two seasons compared to the later seasons but….

Even if the animation and storylines aren’t as strong, I still enjoy the first two seasons if only because they are kinda like the honeymoon phase of the Clone Wars lol

Don’t get me wrong they still have their moments (Hevy😭) but for me I enjoy them because that feeling of impending dread isn’t lingering in the back of my head as much, as opposed to the later seasons where you start to see the Republic slowly morph into the imperialist regime we all know

The Prequel era is my favourite era in Star Wars so anything that lets me enjoy it without thinking about how close we are to that heart wrenching end, I will gladly accept. Yes please let me live in denial a little bit longer 😭

Which Jedi would you wanna see in a TOTJ season 2?

Your choice isn’t limited to the Jedi in the collage btw. I just thought I’d choose these characters to go along with my question since they haven’t had as much screen time compared to others (except for Qui-Gon but I know people wouldn’t be opposed to seeing him again lol)

Plo Koon is my favourite Jedi ever so I’ll always choose him but I would also love to see how Gungi survived Order 66

Snotlout should’ve been Hiccup’s second-in-command, not Eret

Such a missed opportunity, Snotlout went through so much growth as a character. It would’ve been a great conclusion to his arc, going from Hiccup’s biggest annoyance to his most trustworthy and loyal soldier

Throughout the events of RTTE he learnt that he didn’t have to be the one calling the shots to make his mark in the team, he finally saw through all the toxic lies his dad instilled into him about what being a Jorgensen is all about, he does it in his own way, which is really commendable because it takes courage to go against a generational teaching like that

Snotlout and Hiccup’s relationship had a very subtle but notable trajectory throughout the series, they gangrened a lot of respect for each other and learnt that they aren’t so different, Snotlout knows Hiccup would never judge or look down on him, can’t say that for the rest of the gang

Snotlout becoming Hiccup’s second-in-command would’ve given him given more confidence and motivation to become the best warrior he could possibly be because Hiccup saw something in him that no one else cared to notice

Ugh…just another thing THW screwed up I guess 🫠
