Maul and Ahsoka COULD beat Sidious (but still prob lose)

One thing that annoys me in SWs forums is circle jerking characters.

Maul wanted Ahsoka to join him because he thought they could beat Sidious together.

How exactly is unclear but the implication is that they were powerful enough together.

What does everyone online think?

LOL no. Sidious roflstomp. 0 chance. Etc.

This is short-sighted.

Maul and Ahsoka, if they actually locked in and fought together, and ideally with the advantage of an ambush DO have enough power to beat Sidious.

They're both high tier fighters. Great duelists who can overwhelm Sidious, and their main issue is his force power is much stronger.

Do I think they'd actually win? Probably not.

Not just because Sidious is so strong but because he always has the psychological advantage (like we saw in his "training" of Vader in the comics).

Maul and Ahsoka would have to lock in like crazy but honestly I don't see them maintaining that composure for long against the sith lord, and I see him prevailing.

What I don't get is wtf is the fanbase on.

We've seen Sidious go parallel with Yoda and "lose" (depends on your opinion) against Windu.

You're telling me Maul and Ahsoka have no chance against Yoda or Windu? Ofc they do, and in fact I'd say they're favored.

Sidious is written as a character who is always in control, as he is the big bad and the tempter, almost devil like figure.

When he isn't in control he's instead running away from a threat in Yoda or getting killed by surprise by Vader.

It seems his image of always being in control works even better on the fanbase 🧐

I think more people than less thinks he threw against Windu on purpose AFTER Lucas said this isnt the case.

Just think about how crazy that is lol. The creator says NO, but the fanbase is so awed by Sidious' dominance and menace that they say YES.

That's why I'm here to set the record straight.

Sidious should never be put down as low diffing or even mid diffing Maul/Ahsoka if they lock in.

We actually saw him have to stop dueling Maul because once Maul got pissed at Oppress dying, he locked in, so Sidious switched to force powers where he has a big edge.

(Granted I still think he wins a duel but now a bit risky)

Anyway. I still give it to Sidious because I dont think Maul or Ahsoka has the mental strength required to overcome him, (Sidious was such a presence he had Vader like a dog until he betrayed him for love of Luke) and Sidious' force powers are still superior.

High difficulty. With a well planned ambush, maybe extreme difficulty. If Sidious ambushes them, mid difficulty.

Please tell me this reddit is not stuck in perma intimidation of Sidious too, just like the characters.

PS.

btw. about Sidious vs. Maul and Oppress. i think this is brought up in the worst ways by people.

He pulls up like a demon against them and Maul is clearly scared of his old master. And Oppress is merely a strong rookie.

Sidious is in control the whole fight but not so much because he's 100 times a better duelist than both but because he's got Maul terrified and Oppress outmatched.

This is a logical conclusion to make because solo angry Maul gives him way more trouble than the brothers together but not locked in.

If anything the correct powerscaling takeaway is Maul in an ideal mental state is enough of a threat with light sabers that Sidious would rather take him down with the force to be safe.

To really underscore this, we then see Maul beg for his life pathetically (after he was trying to avenge his brother!). which really shows you how rentfree Maul's head is for the emperor.

Season 7 was peak except for these two characters.

Literally zero reason to have them. They were annoying, dumb, and acted like they were smarter than they were. Season 7 would’ve been a 10/10 if these two weren’t in it.

Beloved voice actor Tom Kane has sadly passed away. May he rest in peace and may the force be with him

My photo editing skills are subpar at best but I still wanted to put together a tribute image to a voice actor who contributed so much to my childhood.

Im sadly to report Tom Kane, one of the most important voices of our childhood, has sadly passed away at the age of 64. His narration of Star Wars the Clone Wars was legendary, his work as Yoda gave us some of the character's best moments and his countless works other franchises 🙏

What's the best way to watch Star wars The clone wars ?

I don't know why I never got around to watching this series, it just seemed really long to me last year.

But now I want to take the time to watch this series. But I found many people saying that the best way to watch it is in chronological order.

So in what order should I watch the series?
