Hello guys!

I am 27 yo and have heard about this game since childhood. I recently started playing the SNES version through a ROM Emulator. I really love it. However i am stuck on the fight against Son of Sun. I know his gimmick about the flames, and i have strong healing. However he deals tons of unfair damage nevertheless. I know that i have to have fire resist armor, but i think i screwed up. At this point i can not trade for ruby vests (650 BC), the trader does not accept it. I also locked myself out of the red vest, because i already opened the chests before i found out. What can i do?
