Some guy wanted me to edit this for 10$/edited minute

This is the video editing style he wanted and when I talked about the editing that goes into this and the whole process. He asked me for my prices, I told him, then he wanted 10$/edited minute because I don't have something similar in my portfolio and so I can earn while I get something for my portfolio. I then told him lol I'd never even consider that.

So would you guys even consider these types of people or just do as I did?
