Hi everyone! She Past Away is playing in Gothenburg, Sweden this October and I am considering to go there. But since I am a total noob when it comes to festivals/concerts and big cities, I wanted to ask if somebody can help me with everything I should think of, especially since I would go there alone and I never really navigated through such a big city all by myself. Coming to Landvetter Airport is not the issue but I would appreciate every help for everything that comes after.
- Can someone recommend a somewhat decent hotel near the Musikens hus? I saw there is a Clarion kind of near it but maybe there is some other hotel closer to it?
- I assume it will close around 01.00 in the morning, what is the safest way to get back to the hotel? Safety is a big worry for me and I really do not want to go out alone this late in a city I have never been before. How does it work if I would need a taxi, is it best via app or is there some established taxi company you can call whenever, are there trams?
- It will be open from 20.00 in the evening, how early should I get there? Anything I should think about?
- If I am already there for the weekend, can somebody recommend some other (alternative) bars or venues worth visiting?
Every help I can get would be appreciated!
