Day 6 tonsillectomy recovery

I’ve been in a lot of pain I think day 2-4 was the worst because my jaw would shiver/shake and ear pain got worse and it still hurt to swallow and was drooling like crazy it just felt like absolute hell

I don’t feel like it’s too hard to swallow anymore but things that weren’t hurting before are starting to burn really bad like popsicles, I’d rather eat more solid food because it hurts less for some reason. I can’t get a good look at my left tonsil because my tongue can’t relax enough and it’s a sharp pain when I try to compress it to look but the left side is less swollen than before and the edges around where the white stuff is is really red not bloody but irritated looking and it looks like there may be food stuck or maybe it’s scabs or both

Basically drinking is burning but the swallowing pain is a lot less
I also noticed my liquid meds burned more

Is there anything I can do for this should I stop drinking that stuff? Idk I haven’t had any complications yet and really don’t want any because I also developed a uti and had to go back on antibiotics again

You received the medication Sugammade as part of your procedure with anesthesia.
Sugammade can make hormonal contraceptives - including oral contraceptives, vaginal ring, implants, or a hormonal Intra-Uterine System (IUS) - less effective because it reduces how much you get of the progestogen hormone. The amount of progestogen lost by using Sugammadex is about the same as missing one contraceptive pill.

Otherwise I am not on any birth control or anything and I didnt do my tgel for like 3 days because the other meds cutoff was like 3 days and I wanted to be careful

If anyone could explain it to me like I’m 5 that’d be cool I also think it’s important for other ppl to know this because idk I’ve never heard abt it I don’t think

20 f (trans man he/him) had an abscess rupture 3 weeks ago, bronchitis, and upper respiratory infection. I’ve been on antibiotics and steroids for the last 2 1/2 weeks but am still sick, and I’ve been sick every few months for a couple years. I do already have a liquid antibiotic for after. It’s my first surgery the only other thing I’ve done is a colonoscopy. Idrk the purpose of my post rn….im just trying not to get insanely anxious. Maybe use it as a void to comment/complain to about it.
My surgeon told me I should be better in a week “if you don’t baby it” which kinda made me nervous about what would happen if there were additional complications but idk I talked to him for like 10mins before we scheduled it
