Single shot 300 BLK

I want to pick up a single shot 300 Blackout. Originally I wanted the Rossi Brawler, but I simply can’t find one for sale anywhere.

So I started looking at the Rossi LWC (around $250) and the CVA Scout (around $400). I’m leaning toward the Rossi just because of how inexpensive it is. I mainly just want something to plink around my property with a suppressor.

Are there any others I’m missing?

I’m not looking for some super precision setup or a hunting rifle, just a fun, quiet little suppressor host for subs. Curious what everyone else is running for cheap single shot 300 BLK setups.

Threaded P365-XMACRO TACOPS vs P365-FUSE TACOPS… anyone have experience with either?

Went into my LGS today, my buddy owns the shop, and I told him I was looking for a 9mm pistol with a threaded barrel mainly because I want some more suppressor hosts. He showed me a few different options, then busted out two brand new SIGs still zip tied from the factory:

• P365-XMACRO TACOPS threaded model (4.3” barrel)
• P365-FUSE TACOPS threaded model (4.9” barrel, tan)

I went home and started trying to research them, but I can barely find anything on either threaded version. When I search “P365-FUSE TACOPS” or “P365-XMACRO TACOPS,” most of the stuff I find is the standard non-threaded models. Even YouTube doesn’t seem to have much on these exact setups.

Wanted to see if anyone here actually owns either one, the threaded versions, and how you like them.

How do they run suppressed? Any cycling issues, weird ejection patterns, excessive blowback, etc.?

I never really considered a P365 before, but both of these honestly have me intrigued. The tan FUSE looked awesome and I like the longer barrel/slide setup, but the smaller black XMACRO felt really good in the hand too.

Would love to hear some real-world feedback before I decide which direction to go.

Help me decide on a robot vacuum. Is the iRobot Roomba Max 705 the move?

My wife is about to order a robot vacuum today and we’re pretty overwhelmed with all the Roomba models/versions out there. She’s currently leaning toward the iRobot Roomba Max 705 because it’s on sale for around $500 and one of her friends said they love theirs.

Wanted to get some opinions before we pull the trigger.

Our setup:

- Mostly hardwood floors
- A few area rugs/throw rugs
- No transitions between rooms
- One dog that sheds a moderate amount
- Two kids that constantly make messes
- During the summer they track in sand from our sandbox pretty regularly
- Plenty of room for a dock/base station

Main priorities are:

- Good pet hair performance
- Handling everyday crumbs/dirt/sand well
- Reliable navigation
- Not constantly getting stuck
- Decent app/usability
- Low maintenance if possible

Also important: we are ONLY looking for a vacuum. We have zero interest in mopping features.

For those of you who own the 705, how has it been?

Also curious if there are any other Roomba models in the same general price range that we should be looking at before ordering.

Looking for some honest feedback on the PSA Dagger from people who actually own/shoot them suppressed.

I told my local gun shop to keep an eye out for any decent 9mm with a threaded barrel, mostly because I want some more suppressor hosts. I already have a couple 9mm cans and want another pistol to run suppressed, and they recently acquired a gently used Dagger with the ported slide and threaded barrel + Holosun 407 X2 for $400 out the door.

At first I was leaning toward a Ruger RXM because I don’t know much about the Daggers, but it’s kinda hard to ignore this deal considering the optic is included.

How have your Daggers been reliability-wise, specifically when shooting suppressed? Any cycling issues, ammo sensitivity, excessive blowback, etc?

I finally grabbed a MK114 (14.5 pinned with the FRC 3-port) after chasing one for a while, and now I’m realizing I probably should’ve thought through my suppressor setup a little more before pulling the trigger.

Right now I’m running my Exigent Fireteam on my MK18 using a Wolfpack recessed hub + recessed Night Howler, and that setup has been solid. But from what I’m seeing, the recessed hub isn’t going to work with the longer FRC 3-port on the PWS.

So now I’m trying to figure out what direction to go for the MK114. From what I can tell, I’m probably looking at something like:
- Rearden Atlas XL
- Comstock HPA
- PWS BDE PUB-XL

Main goal is just making sure I’ve got enough clearance in the blast chamber with that longer muzzle device.

Where I’m getting hung up is this:
If I switch to an XL style hub mount for the PWS, what are you guys running on your other hosts to stay compatible? I’d still like to run the Fireteam on my 10.3” DDM4, so I’d need a Plan B style muzzle device that works with the longer hub.

And then thinking ahead a bit… I’ll probably grab another can dedicated to the PWS at some point (leaning something like a Tisha or Rhodie 6). I’m assuming I’ll still be in the same boat needing an XL or extended hub to clear that FRC.

Unfortunately swapping the FRC isn’t really an option since it’s pinned and welded, and I don’t feel like going through the hassle of SBR’ing it over basically an inch.

Curious what others have done in this situation. Am I overcomplicating this or is this just the reality of working around pinned PWS muzzle devices?

I’ve been wanting one of these for a while but they’ve been out of stock everywhere. Got one of those “back in stock” email alerts earlier and jumped on it right away.

Finally locked in a Kodiak Brown MK114 and I’m hyped to get it in.

This will be my first piston-driven AR, so I’m stepping a little outside what I’m used to. I’m planning on watching some videos and learning the system, but figured I’d ask here too.

Anything I should know right off the bat? Tips on maintenance, cleaning, or general quirks with the long-stroke system? Also anything I should keep an eye on during the first few range trips?

Appreciate any insight 👍
