Hey all!

Bought my first gun back in December, the newer CZ P10C OR Ported. Love the thing, been a joy upgrading the parts, shoots like a dream. But...I'd like something a little smaller for CCW, and in .380 instead of 9mm. Been looking at the hellcat, bg 2.0, glock...and a thought occurred to me while looking at the P365 .380.

My issue with all these micro compacts is that I can't get all 3 fingers on the grip, which, I'm sure, is the purpose of the P365X, but it's chambered in 9mm. My question is...

Theoretically, could I buy a P365 .380 and throw it on a P365 X/XL frame/lower? Essentially building a P365X in .380?

The only thing I could foresee being an issue is the mag. The P365X mags are obviously longer and meant for 9mm - and with a longer depth than the .380 to accommodate the longer cartridge. The .380 mags have a spacer in them for reliable feeding, right? I assume the P365X mags would generally work with .380 but I assume there could be issues with reliable feeding.

So there's my idea and the potential issues. What are your thoughts? Anyone ever try this? Can 9mm mags be modified to reliably feed 380?

TLDR; could I throw a P365 in .380 on a P365X frame, and make it reliable?

Would you guys buy this from shark coast tactical ? The lowest I could find it at was 910$ but probably 1000$ with taxes. Which color way ( White/blue,green/Black,Grey/Black, and white/black ) would yall go with ? And this would also be my first time owning an sig !

dudes - beer me a pic of your MCX with the IR FDE finish with a B5 anything (stock, grip, vfg) in either coyote brown or FDE. I can't seem to find any in search.

I'm a super poof and am not liking the color match on the Magpul grip in FDE or the BCM vfg in FDE. The Magpul isn't too bad, but the BCM is way too light. I'd rather not send them out for cerakote, but my gheyness for matchy matchy knows no bounds.

The Troy irons and the Aimpoint T2 match up great. The other stuff not so much. Stock pistol grip for scale.

I haven't tried the B5 stuff yet, but read the vfg fits a little better on the rail without the overhang. Before I go buy more shit I'd rather just see some pics or hear first hand. thx

L: P250C, R: P320F

Both SIG, .40 caliber, polymer framed. Magazines are broadly interchangeable ( the C frame has a slightly shorter grip, meaning that those magazines are too short for the F frame, while the F frame magazines work well with the C frame guns, but the stick out the bottom of the grip slightly).

P250: C (compact? Says medium on the receiver) frame, hammer fired.

P320: F (full size) frame, striker fired.

It is my impression that the P320 is the follow on to the P250. The seem to have similar grip geometry. The P250 is DAO, while the P320 lives in that wasteland that isn’t really DAO or DA/SA (traditional DA) that all, or at least most, striker fired guns exist in.

The P250 is noticeably harsher than the P320. It does a substantially poorer job of recoil mitigation, and target reacquisition is slower and seemingly less accurate, based on the groupings I was seeing.

The trigger reset was almost all the way out, I would get caught by it at least once per magazine, even after I got used to it as the range session progressed.

The P320 was flawless. Superb recoil control, quick and accurate target reacquisition, leaving tight groups with excellent placement.

I did get better with the P250 as time went on, but I don’t remember having anything like these issues with the P320 when I got it.

SIG certainly did an excellent job improving the P250. For the same price I would recommend the P320 over the P250. Since they both live near the bottom of the price spectrum, it is hard to imagine a P250 price that would make it a better buy than the P320.

I won't have the rifle in my hands for a few more days and am getting some shopping done. Looking to purchase a Precision Armament EFAB and some Accuwashers.

Does anyone know off the top of their head which Shim O.D. size I should get? Thanks for any replies

Already hit up the optics warranty dept. But still, very odd? I’m not sure what exactly caused this to break and thankfully it is the removable lens built specifically for this reason, but I was hoping I’d have to replace it for a blunt impact shatter or something.
