My franchisee is openly telling the GMs that he is freaked out. He is slowly uping the mileage amount. He wants to cut stores to skeleton crews and is giving all of his stores new paint jobs and generally upgrading cosmetic things. It makes me wonder if he plans to sell stores.

Side note I get a lot of ads for being a doordash/uber driver. I assume its because people have maybe stopped because of gas prices.

This post is just kinda random and I'm wondering if other franchisees or GMs are nervous and are possibly doing similar things?

Edit to add: the cosmetic upgrades aren't just in custumer view but the whole store. Painting, baseboards, etc.
