My first ever crown was installed a couple days ago, it feels very flat/smooth and potentially cracked?
Background:
-Broke tooth #15 eating a pretzel.
-Went to have it looked at and was told the tooth broke because of a deep cavity and would need a crown.
-Got a temp crown and had to wait 3 weeks to come back for the permanent.
-At the 3 week mark my tooth was still very sore with the temp crown and was told I would need to go see an endodontist for a root canal.
-Got the root canal done after another 3 weeks of waiting for an appointment
-Went back to the dentist this past Wednesday and got the permanent installed.
The crown feels very smooth and flat, I was assuming it would turn out closer to my original tooth shape. I took an ear camera to get a better look and I see what appears to be a hairline crack in it. The dentist said everything looked good before I left, but questioning if I need to go back or go somewhere else to get it redone?
