Edit: I’m not looking for an opinion if this app works or doesn’t work or whatever. I’m just curious if you after 3 years of me using this app, if I’m on the same learning curve as someone else that sees an in-person instructor.
I’ve often thought, and seen other posts, about Yousician not recognizing chords well. For open chord fast strumming songs, try a floppy pick. I’m working on the ‘go for gold’ stuff cleaning up a bunch of level 4 songs. There are a lot of fast open chord strumming songs i could never perfect. Like for a year or more. Today I switched from my do-all/go to .6mm dunlop pick to a vey bendy .38mm dunlop. I’m nailing them much more easily. I don’t know if I’m playing better, of the app just hears me better. Whatever the reason, it helps a lot.
I think maybe the stiff pick misses some strings in a chord occasionally, and the bendy pick gets them.
I’ve moved to a new laptop and can’t get any input from audio cable, any suggestions?
The cable works fine in windows recorder and in Rocksmith. From yousician, it detects the cable but no input from it. So far I’ve tried the following:
- different usb ports
- checked windows privacy to ensure yousician is allowed access to mic
- updated all drivers
- confirmed the mic frequency is on 48,000htz
I hate the fact that there’s no explanation before the song.
Would be great to have some for used strumming patterns or general chord changes.
Took a little long (at least 6months now), but nice to see the scrolling on the songs page fixed on mac!
It would be great if we could filter full versions only, and either remove AI tracks or remove tracks we've rated 1 star.
What is this long horizontal line on the 18th blue bar? And what does number 1 above it mean?
Want to get premium+ for kid. Would appreciate if there is a coupon for Yousician premium+. The current offer I see ($139) seems to be bit expensive. Thanks in advance!
