(*Putting my glasses on to write this.* It's serious now)

Guys I NEED a good book recommendation I've been starved for too long! Every book I read now seems mediocre, predictable, and doesn't elicit any feeling from me. I read a lot of popular fiction, but I've gotten so tired of fantasy and murder mystery because it's just the same plot but in a slightly different way. Anyone have a request that has a really unique perspective on any aspect of life?

I also have the qualm of always picking up a book that someone recommended or is ridiculously popular and seeing a white female author. Nothing against white females in any way, I just want a change in perspective.

Books I actually enjoyed include the Westing Game, And Then There Were None, Six of Crows, Fangirl, and These Violent Delights.

Book that I didn't enjoy (unpopular opinions) were Caravel, Once Upon a Broken Heart, the Folk of the Air (sorry), Shadow and Bone, and agggtm (don't murder me please).

Any suggestions? Thanks for taking the time to read this rant :))))))

What books (non-spicy, little romance) have you read and enjoyed as an adult, having read and enjoyed ASOUE as a kid? Any genre, but bonus points if it's somehow a similar vein/vibe.

MY MOM BOUGHT ME THIS BOOK

I go to a Lutheran school so we study the Bible alot and whenever my mom asks me what I want for whatever occasion Christmas my B day I always say Noah's ark stuff. Omg we hit the jackpot with this one. It is written by the top scientist and archeological society in the world! I am only on page 124 and its 380 some pages. They talk about bible stuff besides Noah's ark to. It isnt something you can read really fast ok its like going to advanced archeological class in ancient language translation or a religious university. It took me a few days just to read that. It is understandable for even me. I like this author he wrote the other diary book to and we looked to see what other diaries he had. It is definitely YA. It is told in a different way like that Seinfeld show. When they asked the lead scientist how he was going to write the book he said what ever we talk about is the book lol. I like the fun their reserch team has translating the wives diaries of the ark. I would recommend to any kid my age or any advanced science course bc it has a big chapter on using the antigravity technique from the preflood days thst they must have found bc i didnt read that far yet. This read would definitely fit in for any age group interested. Have a great day 🐴 🙀 🐢 🦕 🐘 🦒 🦁 🐶 🦕 🦎 🐫 🐻 🐊 🐯 🙊 🦍 🐼 🌊 🐬 🦏 🐆 🐍 🐝 🦓 🕊 🦅🐃 🦌 🦑 🐧🦆 🐓 🐔 🐰 🦏 🦇 🐂 🦗 🦊 🐑 🐏 🐦 🐌 🐝 🐩 🐢 🐳 🌊 🐻 🦊 🐛 🦋 🐊 💺🐶
