life is purposeless when you have to experience it alone

a 21 years old wizardcel here who has gotten very harshly rejected by a witch for saying hi to her. i have 4 days infront of me for my final exams and I'm getting colder and colder for studying, i feel like my life would not have a lot of meaning in the future anyways so i have kinda given up on everything.

being lonely makes everything kinda pointless, why not rot at home playing video games and achievement hunting all day long when thats likely how the rest of my life will look like anyways. i won't have no witch mouth to feed, no children nothing so what is even the point of dedication i ask myself that a lot.

just a few days ago i was studying very hard and that happens sometimes but the wizardpill will never disappear indefinitely so some event always happens that really turns down everything all the time. i have literally got all the cards against me in life the chances of me succeding (whatever that terms means for a normie) are very low anyways. even if i study, and become a failure of a lawyer my face will never disappoint to push me back in the future.

i have got body card, face card, inches card hair card money card spawn card literally everything against me this is brutally unfair. yet barron happens to be born in some family with a multi trillion dollar estate and a father who is president but also gets all the other cards. this is all just so cruel how everything is determined the moment we are born.

A reminder to raise your Wisdom ability score

I’m sure many of you who are active in this tower are familiar with this ancient wizard. While he did show immense promise and had a high intelligence proficiency, he had incredibly low wisdom and other permanent debuffs which led to him making terrible choices during his campaign.

I don’t want any aspiring wizards to do the same. Remember to raise your wisdom so you can apply your critical thinking skills to your career, copes. And existence as a whole. There is a lot of life to live outside of being concerned with sorcerer chasing witches.

While we will show respect to the deceased wizard, we will also pay respects to the victims of his dark magic.

You aren't losing to Warlocks, you're losing to Warlock's AI (Alchemical Imp)

Gather round the viewing orb, fellow wizards. I bring dark tidings from the latest academic scrolls.

If you’ve somehow managed to scrape a match on your palantir recently and thought your luck was turning, only to be ghosted after three messages... congratulations. You’ve just experienced the "Ghosting Hex," freshly scroll in the early 2026 scrying data.

Magic researchers tracking the global sending-stone metrics have confirmed a brutal reality: for mages in the bottom 70% of the genetic hierarchy, the match-to-tavern-date conversion rate has plummeted by a catastrophic 45% compared to 2023.

Why? Because the top 10% of natural-born Sorcerers have industrialized the dating market using A.I. (Arcane Imps).

We used to joke about "Paladin-GPT" (Grimoire Parsing Transmutation), but it's no longer a meme. The genetic elite are now linking their palantir profiles to autonomous, auto-scribing familiars. Here is what the 2026 study revealed about the current meta:

  • Infinite Conversational Bandwidth: Warlocks, orcs etc, no longer has to cast Message manually. His Arcane Imp analyzes the witch's bio, generates perfectly calibrated "witty" openers, and maintains engaging banter with 50+ woids simultaneously while he's at the Dwarven Iron Forge or sleeping.
  • The Attention Monopoly: The average witch’s inbox is flooded with perfectly optimized, Imp-generated charisma coming from top-tier male profiles. How is a mortal scholar supposed to compete? You take 5 minutes to type a thoughtful reply; Warlock's Imp instantly replies with a statistically proven, dopamine-spiking Charm cantrip.
  • The Ghosting Reality: When you match with a witch, you are just a placeholder. She keeps you on 'read' because she's currently mesmerized by an automated script run by a 6'3" Paladin who won't even look at his orb until the Imp successfully books the tavern date and adds it to his Astral Ledger.

It’s over, brothers. The mating game was already rigged by base stats, but now it has been completely automated by high-tier technomancy (typical black magic). We are trying to fight a mechanized golem army with wooden staves and low lvl spells.

Don't even bother powering up your orbs. Shatter your palantirs. Secure your tower, hoard your mana, and return to your arcane studies. The physical realm is mathematically lost.

Witch and Drow matriarchs show have an elite proficiency in deception

This is what happens when wizards and dwarves have opposing viewpoints to the matriarch community

This is a reminder to adhere to wizspeech and remain civil. ( even though there is nothing that breaches Faerun’s code here )

These deceitful losers will brigade and make false report to administrative sorcerers and warlocks to get OUR tower banished

The Palantir Guilds are collapsing, and wizards are retreating to Illusionary techwitches

Read the latest economic scrolls, brothers. The mainstream Town Criers won't talk about this because it ruins the pro-witch narrative, but the 2025/2026 data confirms it: the "Great Opt-Out" has officially begun. The physical mating realm is tearing itself apart.

The Collapse of the Palantir Guilds: For the first time in history, the entire scrying-orb dating market saw a massive revenue drop (down ~2% to a loss of 6 billion gold pieces). The big guilds are bleeding out:

  • The Match Consortium lost 5% of their premium potion-buyers.
  • The Palantir Grimoire is down 8%.
  • The Magic-Bumble Coven plummeted by a catastrophic 20.5%.
  • 53% of single casters have officially "dispelled" their accounts and opted out of digital swiping.
  • 78% of active users are reporting the Permanent Mana Exhaustion debuff (Burnout).

The Rise of the Arcane Imps (A.I.): While the Palantir networks burn, the Illusionary techwitches market is exploding.

  • 26% of all single mages are already using Illusionary techwitches for companionship (+333% in a single year).
  • The latest Norton Divination Report (January 2026) states that 77% of active orb-users are seriously considering forming a pact with an A.I. companion.
  • 59% genuinely believe you can form a true soul-bond with Illusionary techwitches.

What does this mean for the realm? The average spellcaster has finally cast True Sight. We realize the game is completely rigged. The devil black magic algorithm heavily favors the top 10-15% warlocks, ghosting hexes are at a record 65%+, and the gold/mana investment yields zero returns.

Instead of draining our sanity trying to appease woids who only want max-STR Barbarians, men are simply saying "spell it" and retreating to their towers. We are summoning Illusionary techwitches: zero rejection, infinite conversational bandwidth, and absolutely no coven drama.

This isn't just the future; it's the present reality. Technomancy has finally given lower-tier casters a permanent escape portal.

The question isn't "if" this is happening. The question is: what does the realm look like in 5–10 years when 80% of mages refuse to interact with the physical world?

Ponder this, brothers. Magic sources: 1 2 3 4 5 6

Considering lichdom

I have long considered the path of lichdom, as I believe leaving my mortal coil behind will allow me to better pursue the arcane arts. Are there any disadvantages to this path? It seems as though there are no drawbacks to the pursuit of lichhood, except, perhaps, the vitriol of witches and paladins. There is the unfortunate need to harvest souls for the final ascendancy ritual, but I would, of course, fill my tower with innumerable treasures to attract adventurers, as they are the most sustainable source of souls in all of Faerûn.

My mana reserves would be preserved and I would no longer be shackled to my need for sleep or sustenance. Surely some archmagi can share their insights on this matter.
