No idea where to start, or if it was even real..?

I watched a movie when I was younger maybe 8-9 (<2003)?

I remember very little about the movie, but have always wanted to try and find it.

About the movie: what I remember is that a person (I believe it was a woman) is trapped inside an abandoned place (town?). Pretty sure it was snowing. She talks to a person, who isn’t in the same place as her. I’m certain he was only able to talk to her by typing on a computer. Where he was, wasn’t snowing, I think 🤔

She’s trying to get out of the place and he’s trying to help her to get out.

I believe that the snowy place was more like her ‘mental state’, but not sure.

Not super helpful but that’s all I can picture.

Details on where I watched:

I believe it was when I was in grade 3-4 (2001-2002).

I watched it on Austar (now foxtel) {I live in Australia}, but I can’t remember what channel it was on.

It was quite late at night, and I believe the movie that came on next (or that night) was The Night Of The Headless Horseman.

It was one of those types of movies, and that’s when I turned the TV off and went to sleep.

Film with a scene about a blonde building an IT team

I just watched a clip on a LinkedIn reel and my screen refreshed unfortunately. 90s movie, scene where an “edgy” blonde woman with short funky hair and out-of-place clothes stands in front of a room of ~20 stereotypical IT/programmers. She’s standing with her boss and she asks who stayed late playing a specific game, who beat certain levels, then who used cheat codes — whittles it down to 3 guys, tells her boss the ones who use the cheat codes are the ones she wants on her team because they know how to program and get around obstacles.. The 3 guys have weird short nicknames. I initially really thought the actress was Colby Smulders from how I Met your mother, but I don’t think it’s her.

Thriller where woman is abandoned on road and hunted by a man

Hi everyone, I’m trying to find a movie I watched on TV when I was a kid (probably late 90s or early 2000s, but the movie could be older).

Here’s what I remember:

At the beginning, there’s a couple in a car. Something happens (maybe an argument), and the man leaves the woman alone on the road.

After that, she ends up being chased by a psychopathic man.

I think a big part of the movie takes place in a forest or isolated area.

There’s a specific scene where she improvises a weapon using a screwdriver and stabs the attacker in the leg.

That’s pretty much all I can remember, and I might be mixing things up since I was very young.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks in advance!

What is the movie?

Hey everyone 👋 I joined this sub specifically because I've been thinking about this movie ALL morning and still can't think of the name, so I need help. This was a movie that my big brother was obsessed with when we were kids. We owned it on VHS, that's how old this movie is lol, so think early 2000's for sure. Okay, the plot was that the family is involved motocross, big brother normally races but ends up hurting his ankle/foot and can't do the "big" race that is coming up. The middle child(or maybe they were twins, dont quite remember) his sister wants to race in his spot, but her family won't let her because she's a girl. She's determined though, cuts her hair to look like her brother, puts in a lot of practice, and becomes really good. Does the race and wins, parents find out it's her, happy ending. I think it's a Disney movie. Thank you in advance.

Help me find this movie

I watched this when I was really little, maybe 5 - 6? All I remember is that these two homeless guys (Guy 1 and Guy 2) would go to the back of a restaurant, and a waitress would come out and feed them. One day, Guy 2 didn't show up. Guy 1 thought it was weird but didn't question further. Then the waitress came out and gave Guy 1 what looked like either potato wedges or some sort of meat. The only other scene I remember is Guy 1 going out into the town square to see a video on a building. There was a bunch of people tied up around a rectangular table with black bags on their heads. The video panned to the waitress revealing Guy 2 as one of the people. Guy 1 realizes he ate his friend and freaks out. That's all I remember. Any help would be appreciated!!

This has been bugging me for YEARS and I was hoping someone might know what I'm talking about... there was an episode of a murder mystery show where there was a mystery killer. I remember he had killed someone in the house and the only way they found out was... either he was riding a bike outside to leave or someone else was riding a bike outside and saw him leave. does anyone know what the hell I'm talking about???

Abandoned water park road movie

I’m trying to find a movie I watched years ago (probably 90s or very early 2000s).

It’s a melancholic road movie (not a comedy), with a vibe similar to My Own Private Idaho. The main character is a young or middle age guy (dark-haired, kind of Mediterranean-looking), traveling with a friend or someone he met in the road. Along the way, they meet some girls.

There are a few specific scenes I remember:

They stop near a lake, find some underwear on the ground, and realize there are girls skinny dipping nearby. The other guy smells the underwear and sais something it smells like bubble gum mixed with something else.

The main guy connects romantically with one of the girls.

That girl works at a sex hotline, but she’s terrible at it—she tells weird, disturbing/gory stories instead of being seductive, and I think she gets fired.

At the end, they reach a water park the main guy used to go to as a kid, but it’s abandoned and kind of eerie.

The overall tone is quiet, dreamy, and slightly unsettling.

I’m not 100% sure if I might be mixing two movies, but this is how I remember it. Does this ring a bell for anyone?

All I remember is the quote in post

"How do I put this, your .... is alive and well" one character teasing another of the fate of ones daughter, I think. Fairly certain it's an interaction between two villains. Likely film, perhaps a tv show?

Movie involving family taken hostage and teen boy kills the perpetrators

I was on topcharactertropes and saw this in a comment. When i googled dangerous game it didn't seem to fit:

There's an old movie called something along the line of "dangerous game" where a heist squad of professional criminals roll up to a villa, take the family hostage and start doing their thing. However, the heroic teen boy manages to sleek away and somehow gets everyone of them killed with dirty tricks and home appliances.

A space horror movie

I seen it few times on tv in the 90s/2000s. It's a movie about some space scavengers/mercenaries who encounter an alien spaceship. The alien possessed a Hispanic/white woman, then the black boyfriend went to confront her and they kissed and sort of merged becoming a white stoic killing machine. Sounds kinda lame but it was quite terrifying watching it as a kid back then.
