Has anyone noticed Waze routing people an extra exit past where you need to get off and then has you turn around and get back on the 407?

That's happened to me twice in the last week. It has me go one more exit than I need and then turns me around back onto the 407 to get to where I actually need to be. I pay $1.00 every time that happens. Is there some kind of agreement happening with Waze and 407?

For quite some time now, my Waze notifications in CarPlay haven't been working properly. Roadwork alerts are clearly communicated. But if there’s a speed camera somewhere, I only get a strange sound; no information that it’s actually a speed camera or what the speed limit is. Now I have to constantly keep an eye on the map to see what kind of alert it is. Are other people experiencing this, and is there a solution? All my settings are correct.

Hello, I am currently trying to engage more with waze, and the talk to report feature is key to keep my eyes on the road.

I use waze iOS app and in the voice and sound settings, the talk to report option does not show. Here are all the attempts I did to make it appear:

1. Set Input Language, Voice (with streets) and App to English US
2. Set Input Language, Voice (with streets) and App to English UK
3. Set Input Language, Voice (with streets) and App to Portuguese (Portugal)
4. Set iPhone region to USA together with the app set to English US
5. Install the following apps: Google, Google Assistant
6. Ensure that waze has all the permissions
7. Update and Reinstall the waze app

I'm based in Portugal, currently with iphone set to US region. iPhone 14 pro, iOS version 26.4.1, waze version v5.18.5.1.

Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Just a heads up for my fellow Honda owning Wazer’s-

I have a 2026 Honda HR-V that has had multiple occurrences of CarPlay completely crashing when skipping songs or using Siri, requiring a reboot of the infotainment system.

I took it in for service today reporting the issue. 8 hours later, I got a call back telling me it was a known issue with Waze, and no fix existed. A factory reset of the HUD and a new Apple charger did not resolve the issue.

Has anyone experienced this on other makes as of recent? It was not an issue on the 2023 HR-V.

When I get a pothole report. I can choose if it is still there, or no longer. I am driving in Czech republic - I want to have an option "which one?”

Just trying this out as I like the active speed camera notifications which don't appear on google maps in the UK.

I like waze so far but the mapping us very 'busy' with too much info, if you zoom in then it often decides to reset the zoom unless you don't allow it to change.

Basically it's too busy and the zoom is rubbish!

Any ideas as I like the rest if it....

In the last week or so I have noticed some strange happenings with voice commands in Waze, for example:

Sometimes commands are announced in what seems to be the wrong order, such as “at the roundabout turn left”, followed shortly after by “in 0.1 miles at the roundabout turn left”

For no apparent reason it occasionally states “in 0.6 miles….” or “in six tenths of a mile…” instead of the standard half mile.

Is this an issue with my settings, a GPS issue, or a glitch?

I know the correct answer is “turn the commands off” which I do when I’m on my own, but my kid enjoys the voice commands and it’s bothering him!

Why is it still not possible to save predefined routes with multiple stops in Waze?

My daily routine isn’t always the same. Some days it’s:

• Home → Work Other days:
• Home → School → Work And sometimes:
• Home → School → College → Work

Every single time I have to manually set the destination from the favorites and then add stops again. It’s repetitive and honestly frustrating for something I do every day.

What I really want is simple:

• Save routes with multiple stops
• Name them (like “Work Direct”, “School Day”, “Full Route”)
• Tap once and go

Is anyone else dealing with this?
How are you solving it today?

Are you sticking with Waze and using some workaround, or did you switch to another app?

Curious to hear how you guys handle this because right now it feels like a pretty basic feature that’s missing.

It often wastes time because there's usually a stop light at the intersection.

Doesn't make sense at all. Wish it would stop doing that.

When connected to Android Auto, I cannot report gas prices at all.

The "Gas" option in the Report screen is not there via Android Auto, and when using Android Auto Waze on the phone refuses to display the map, and then closes the map on the car screen when I swipe away from the app on the phone.

I use Wireless AA, so I can't just disconnect the device.

I wish they would keep the Terminator Voice on the app. That was my favorite!

As of this latest update 19 hours ago, all of my saved places have been wiped out.

And the calendar integration that I rely on every day is broken. No calendar events at all appear in Waze. I've disabled and reenabled the calendar but it remains broken.

This is the third time that an update to Waze had caused an issue like this. I don't understand how significant issues like these made it through the testing stage before being released to the public.
