Post-Job Opinions

All,

I recently had the waterproofing membrane extended in my basement after heavy rains revealed more problem areas. I used the same company that installed my original pump and membrane, but noted a few questionable items post-job I wanted your opinions on.

  1. Does the membrane need caulked? The older portion appears sealed at the top with caulking but it doesn’t appear if the new sections were.

  2. The older cement now has a hairline crack running the length of where the cut was made. Will this affect functionality?

TIA for any opinions provided.
