Took everything I love from my other guitars and built one perfect guitar. Jesus I can’t believe how amazing this thing is.

- Roasted Ash Body with Satin Finish
- Asymmetrical Roasted Flame Maple Neck with Ebony Macassar compound radius fretboard, jumbo stainless steel frets and large headstock, finished with two light applications of Tru-Oil
- DiMarzio AirNorton (N) and ToneZone (B) pickups wired Split-On-Off for each switch

My collection

Hey everyone, just wanted to show off my collection here. My 6 year is really picking up the guitar, and it has me going back to playing after a long hiatus. Don't really have anyone to talk shop with yet (hopefully my daughter will stick with it and that will change).

I spent some time in college as a guitar tech for a small Canadian company, and pivoted that into custom builds. Its not the most interesting collection, and the majority are custom builds but I just wanted to show off a bit.

Details for those interested:

Red Strat: warmoth body and neck with texas hot pickups

Orange Jacksonish: warmoth body and neck (pre-copyright changes) with EMG-HZs and a hot stack in the middle.

Yellow Tele: D.O.S Kraken Tele, carparelli XV neck humbucker and Duncan hot for tele bridge

Carparelli Diesel Baritone: Suhr Doug Aldrich pickups, 27" scale

Partscaster #1: my first build, D.O.S kraken neck, strat copy body, aluminum pick guard, Carparelli XV neck and bridge, Duncan JB Jr middle, Steve vai wiring. This was my attempt to bridge two big influences of mine, Similar Hendrix and Steve Vai. It came out with a real unique vibe.

1985 MIJ Fender strat: my first guitar that was given to me 27ish years ago.

Blue tele: warmoth body and neck, fender noiseless pickups

Not pictured: Art & Lutherie dreadnought acoustic, classical guitar, Carparelli Bubinga Bass.

Many others have been bought sold, built and traded over the years. Warmoth has spoiled .

Me though with the ability to build what I want with the exact specifications I want.

Looking for wgd body

Anyone have a wgd body laying around they never finished that they would like to get rid of? Or a complete one, either way. I'm going to order one soon, but wanted to check second hand first. Pic shamelessly stolen from the internet. To whomever you are, you have good taste.

It actually came yesterday but I was busy with finals for school. But here it is, in all of its glory. Also, there is the Warmoth neck ( 3A roasted Birdseye maple with ebony fretboard). I will be putting turner multicoil pickups with a lusithand double nfp special mk2 pre amp. It should be a really fun bass. I’ve slowly been getting pieces for this bass over the course of about a year since each piece is more money than the last, but it’s finally all done. I took it to a luthier to get all put up since it’s too expensive for me to do it myself. I really want it done right. He said it should be done by next week! Stay tuned to see it in all of its full glory ‼️

Question about Warmoth’s Hollow-Body Carved Top Telecaster

I really love this body style but the only options are solid, and hollow. Is it hollow in the literal sense, like a traditional archtop, or is it semi-hollow, like a Thinline? I want to be sure because while I love me some cleans, I also play a lot of distortion and fuzz, and I’m concerned about the excessive feedback associated with hollow bodies. Appreciate any clarity you can bring.

I wanted to make it as simple as possible. Clear finish on the neck and body with a w/b/w pickguard. Pickups are Creamery Alt 88s and I absolutely love them.

This is my first post here, but I just wanted to express some excitement. I ordered my bass body Feb 20, with a wait time of 14-16 weeks and it will be here this coming Monday(8-9weeks of wait time)! I called since I thought there was some sort of mistake but they said it’s ready and it’s finally coming! This has been a dream of mine. It will be a 5 string, Wal-inspired bass. Has anyone else experienced this? And is this common?
