This project has always been more than just a server; it has been a survivor. Many of you have been with us since the early days of Neverendless and the 2009 launch of Molten-WoW.

We have weathered storms that would have ended any other project. In 2015, we faced the "Moltdown"—a betrayal by former staff (Hermes) that nearly erased our history. But thanks to the leadership of Kaer and the critical merger with Malaco and the Arena-Tournament team, we rose from the ashes as Warmane. We rebuilt the databases, restored the community, and for a decade, we stood as the titan of the private server scene.

But every legend has an ending, and we have decided to go out on our own terms rather than through a forced, chaotic shutdown. The Shutdown Timeline

June 12, 2026 : Account registrations and the donation shop have been disabled.

June 15, 2026: Technical support and bug tracking will cease.

June 18, 2026: All realms (Icecrown, Onyxia, Lordaeron) will be taken offline permanently.

Hey, I’m a turtle refugee, looking for a new server to play. Wotlk is one of my favorite games ever, so I’m highly considering warmane but curious as to how it works. Does this server ever have fresh starts? If not, assuming all content is just out on the server and people are end game already? Not sure how fun that’ll be for myself just getting carried through content. Any information that may be useful is appreciated, thank you.

Hi everyone. A bit of context first: I’ve played WoW most of my life, but mainly Vanilla and TBC (with a bit of Cata and MoP). I’ve done both PvE and PvP, but even though I played WotLK a bit on retail back in the day, I never really touched the endgame. So, I’m basically a newbie when it comes to Wrath raids.

I have two main questions:

1. Which server should I pick: Icecrown or Lordaeron?
   My main interest is PvE endgame, though I’d like to dabble in PvP as well. Just a heads up: Onyxia is not an option. I played it during the TBC phase, but I don’t want to continue that character, nor do I like the idea of a seasonal server that eventually "ends." I actually enjoy the leveling process, so the XP rates aren't a dealbreaker for me.

2. Which class should I main?
   I’m looking for a class where I don’t have to constantly fight for a raid spot. I usually play Paladin, Shaman, Warlock, or Mage, but I’m open to trying Priest, DK or Hunter.

Hard No: I will never play Druid or Rogue.

I primarily want to play DPS, but I also enjoy healing as an Off-Spec (so maybe a hybrid class is the way to go?). Also, I'm not a big fan of "alt-tabbing", I want to focus on one character.

Final thoughts
The most important thing for me is population. I love seeing players everywhere and I really value the social aspect of the game.

Why are people being an @ss to those who want to try a new class? I just got my Disc priest to 4.7k gs and these aholes expect me to perform like a 6k LoD priest. Smh

Few people leave guild and after that guild bank was completely stolen. Many members lose gold, mats, consumes and items we farm very long for raids and progress. Without any reason, only greed and fake friendship.

I already have a pj in lvl 80 and I had forgotten how tedious those 10 levels become.

Tips that don't include a perpetual cycle of searching for dungeons please

Twow refugee here. Currently lvl 22 Aliance drenai warrior levelling duo with a paladin.

In Kalimdor there is no quick pala trainer so we are stuck in Eastern Kingdoms.

Lakeshire is unbearable, every time there is a druid or rouge griefing there. Also they say duskwood is the same...

Any tips? I don't wanna spam dungeons we like levelling in the overworld. But some people make it impossible to level in ceration zones...

Asking if anyone is hosting one of these cause I still need the achievement on both of my chars

Looking for a WOTLK server to redo the 1-80 experience. I tried chromiecraft but its too quiet for my liking. How is lordaeron for the leveling right now? I know theres a healthy amount of 80s but. Is there a good group of people leveling? like will i be able to find dungeons while leveling up?

I know I'll probably get some negative feedback, but I'm completely new to WoW. I'd never played the game until three days ago. I'm a human warrior, but I'd really appreciate any advice you veteran players could give me. I'd like to know how to understand each power, how to do my first dungeon, and any other tips you might have. Thanks!
