Millennial Potash (MLP.v MLPNF) Continues Advancing the Large-Scale Banio Potash Project in Gabon with Definitive Feasibility & Environmental/Social Impact Studies in Progress
Posted on behalf of Millennial Potash Corp. - Millennial Potash Corp. (Ticker: MLP.v or MLPNF for US investors) is focused on advancing the Banio Potash Project in Gabon, a large-scale potash development project located along the country’s southern Atlantic coastline.
The project is being evaluated as a potential solution-mining operation supported by planned government-backed infrastructure, including a port and power facilities.
Its coastal location also provides potential access to international fertiliser markets through Atlantic shipping routes.
An Mineral Resource Estimate technical report for Banio dated December 29, 2025 outlines substantial scale across all resource categories.
The estimate includes 648.2M tonnes grading 15.7% KCl in the Measured category, 1.8B tonnes grading 15.6% KCl in the Indicated category, and 3.56B tonnes grading 15.6% KCl in the Inferred category (see MLP's December 29, 2025 Press Release).
The figures position Banio as a significant potash project with a large overall resource inventory.
Millennial is also advancing both a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) and an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the project, with completion targeted by the end of 2026.
Following completion of those milestones, the Company intends to move forward with a Mining License application targeted for early 2027.
Recently, Millennial increased its ownership interest in the Banio Potash Project to 80% through a milestone payment triggered by the filing of the updated Mineral Resource Estimate technical report.
The Company retains the option to acquire the remaining 20% interest in the project through the completion of the DFS and additional cash and share payments tied to its filing.
