Why do so many people wear hoodies and long sleeve sweaters in the warm weather in Visalia and surrounding areas/towns.

I noticed that a lot of people in Tulare county and Visalia area wear hoodies and jackets/long sleeve sweatshirts when it’s 80 degrees up to 90 and 100 degrees outside….I have never seen this many people doing that in other regions unless they were heroin addicts or tweakers…..Anybody else noticed this odd thing near the Visalia area?

Is this place any good? Is it more or less than component coffee lab? Are the vibes here cool?

Where do late 20s/early 30s people hang out?

I’m trying to meet more people and get out more, but I’m not super into the whole drinking scene. Feels like everything social is centered around bars lol. I’m open to anything lmk please

Visalia Cal Ripken

Did anyone else see the huge argument that took place during the 8U Championship game for Visalia Cal Ripken on Saturday? These coaches should be ashamed of themselves, one of them was a former Visalia Mayor and current city councilman...Someone has to have video of it?

Outdoor Gyms in Visalia?

We need more of these fitness courts/outdoor gym places in Visalia. This would be such a good fit for Riverway Sports park or something.

This is good for people who don’t want to pay memberships. Hopefully they make stuff like this. (I know Blain Park has a little fitness area, but a much larger more option one would be better).

Cities in Kern County have these, like Bakersfield, Shafter, McFarland and places. There should be more in Tulare County as well. There might be one around but may not be aware? But I never really see these.

Outdoorsmen opportunities?

Hello all. Going to be moving to the area by the end of this year. I’ve been spoiled by living near the coast most of my life with endless hiking, fishing, hunting, and similar opportunities. I’m completely unfamiliar with the San Joaquin Valley so figured I’d ask on here if there are any outdoorsmen that can let me know how the opportunities are here.

Not asking for honey holes or to burn your spot, just a general layout of what is available nearby is much appreciated
