Organic chem 1 this spring

Hi everyone,

Im taking organic chem 1 this spring and noticed my instructor is Johnson A. I couldn’t find him on rate my professor, so I was wondering if anyone here has taken a class with them before.

If so, how was your experience in terms of teaching style, difficulty level, and exams? Any tips for doing well in their class would also be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Info for June grad?

I graduated in February when there was no convocation, but still requested to do the in-person grad in June. Has anyone received any info or been emailed about the grad yet?

students in pre-vet

looking for advice for students in pre-vet or those on track to vet-school.

just finished my first year here of pre-reqs, and i've been feeling unsure, like i'm "putting all my eggs in one basket." since wcvm is basically the only option for out of province students, would i have a better shot at getting getting if i were to transfer to UofM considering they reserve 20 (?) spots for qualified students. even then, it's a limited number so it feels pretty competitive and the fact it's not guaranteed is not easy on the heart. reality is nothing is ever set in stone 🥲 i've also considered transferring to apply for Agriculture and Animal Systems, and then apply to vet school down the line. i guess i'm just stuck between staying in pre-vet and hoping it works out or switching into a degree program for more security. i don't really mind being in school for longer, i already knew what i was signing up for when i decided on vet-med.

i think i know which path i'm leaning towards but i'm open to hearing other people's experiences and or any advice, i'm just trying to plan for the future but also not get tooo ahead of myself 😅
