Anyone have the inside scoop on when that planet fitness in the jewel osco parking lot is gonna open up? Tired of traveling from Rogers Park to Wrigley for a workout

Okay does anyone else feel like there’s barely any fun/social stuff for people in that awkward college-age stage 😭

Like yes I know we’re all supposed to be getting jobs/internships and doing “productive” things over the summer, but aside from that… what do people DO 😭

I never really got to do camps or activities growing up, and now I just want something low stakes and social, especially around Chicago/Edgewater/Rogers Park. Honestly I mostly just want people to play volleyball with for fun even though I’m not that good 💀

Are there groups, rec leagues, programs, anything like that for college-age people that are affordable and beginner-friendly?
