Is it normal for your cheat sheet to be taken after a test? Am I cooked?

Just did my Compsci 230 test earlier today. And this is my first course that happened to me (usually all the other restricted book course tests/exams I did let's you keep it when you leave).

Unfortunately I didn't notice if I am the only one that got the single a4 sheet taken away (it was 8:30pm and I just want to go home)

I have a feeling it is because I completely forgot that in 230 they give you a piece of paper for notice and I completely ignored that and just wrote on the cheat sheet instead (since I only managed to fill one page so the back is blank, 230 allows 1x a4 paper printed or written, handwritten for me) didn't write anything interesting just calculating what score id get since coderunner marks your answers immediately (which I don't think there is a rule against doing that, correct me if I am wrong).

Bcom and Bdes question

I'm currently doing a Bcom degree and want to change to a conjoint along with Bdes but I heard the workload is double for Design since its 30 points for first year courses (DESIGN 100 and 101) would it be a smart choice to do both the design courses in sem 2 along with my 3 other Bcom courses (112, 115, infosys110) or is it possible to just do only one design course next semester and do the other one next year sem 1? Im just scared of the work load

Moving from Canada to Auckland for a 6-month internship

Hi everyone!

I’m a 23-year-old moving over from Canada soon for a 6-month internship, and I’m stoked to swap the snow for some New Zealand sun. I’m a pretty active person and I'm looking to get plugged into the local scene while I’m there.

A few things about me/what I’m looking for:

  • Tennis: I’m a competitive player and a coach back home, so I’d love to find some good clubs or high-level hitting partners in Auckland. If anyone can recommend clubs with a solid competitive ladder or a great social atmosphere, I’m all ears.
  • Surfing: I’ve heard NZ surfing is world-class. I’m definitely a beginner but I'm keen to get some lessons where’s the best spot for a newbie to start out?
  • Nightlife: I definitely like to go out and grab drinks or find a good party every now and then. Which areas are the go-to for a 20-something crowd?
  • Travel: Since I’m coming from so far away, I want to make the most of it. What are the "must-visit" spots or hidden gems around the country that I shouldn't miss?

Looking forward to any advice you’ve got. Cheers!

RIP Library bathrooms đŸ’”đŸ•Šïž

Whoever blocked the toilets on level 6 of the library in the ladies toilets, your days are numbered

Sincerely,

A disgruntled student who loved to piss in peaceful solitude 😔💔
