Hey guys! First time posting on here. I’ve never had any fish tanks before, but I’m excited to start learning the hobby :). I got a 20 gallon tank and recently put a Discus in it. I know it’s a little small, but my local fish store is very knowledgeable about this kind of stuff. The discus is swimming a little weird, and I might be paranoid, but could it be the ammonia levels?
I KNOW they’re really high, but the fish store said that the ammonia will go away after the fish is in there for a little bit. Do I need to move to a bigger tank?

Besides the point, but I’m having a lot of fun in the hobby so far. My Discus might be my favorite fish that I’ve ever seen! She is just so beautiful.
