Hi Reddit!

We’re Nimisha Asthagiri (Head of Advanced Analytics & AI,) and Alessio Ferri (Lead Software Engineer and Agile practitioner) at Thoughtworks.

We were both involved in developing the Thoughtworks Technology Radar Vol.34. that launched last month. We now want to reflect on the key takeaways of this new edition.

We’re bringing the conversation to Reddit to answer your questions and explore ideas and experiences defining software engineering right now.

We’re here to talk about:

  • Themes and what stood out in Technology Radar Vol. 34.
  • What this edition can teach us about AI in software engineering.
  • How engineering practices are changing.
  • What demands and deserves your attention right now.
  • Macro trends in the tech industry right now
  • Renaming of the Hold ring to Caution
  • The challenge of evaluating technology in an agentic world

We’ll be answering from u/Thoughtworks and will sign our responses so you know who’s replying. See you on May 13.
