Cajón Setup for low volume gigs

This is a set up I use for playing a lot of Americana and even some country stuff when I’m in a smaller venue and I don’t need to overpower the instruments or the vocals. Of course you don’t need to overpower instruments or vocals with any situation. But in something like tap rooms or bar and grills, this set up has been wonderful for me and set up is 10 minutes. The cajón is powered and the reverse DW pedal gives it a deep sound that’s comparable to an actual 20” acoustic kick drum. I use the 8x14 DW collector’s series snare with this kit along with 13” K/Z high hats (i’ve had them for over 20 years and they are my favorite high hats) A 19” Paiste Signature Full Crash rounds out the kit. I recommend this set up for anyone playing smaller venues.
