Does anyone else feel like this genre disappeared?

I genuinely miss when “girly” games had strong identities and weren’t afraid to be dramatic, stylised, funny, or fashion-focused.

A lot of modern cosy games are great mechanically, but they often feel very neutral aesthetically. Meanwhile older games like Bratz had SO much personality even when they were simple.

I honestly think there’s room for a modern social/fashion life sim with:
- reactive NPCs
- friendship drama/gossip
- strong character identities
- stylised Y2K visuals
- fashion affecting gameplay/social interactions
- open-world exploration

Does anyone else feel like this genre basically disappeared?
