I have been looking recently at getting a new cordless drill. It has been a little over ten years since I bought my last drill. Since I have been looking I am noticing a lot of impact driver vs drill comparisons. I just don't understand the benefit/need of an impact driver for a homeowner. Are they better or are they used for different purposes next to a drill?
