Excuse my ignorance in advance but any information on what i'm dealing with here would be helpful. This well is on a vacant lot of trees in a designated "wetland". It's roughly 77m deep. It's been left in the freezing winter dripping since 2012 for 5 months of every year (wondering if that could cause any damage). The rust on the outside is my main concern right now I am assuming if I pump the well out, let the casing dry and replace the dirt around the well with gravel then treat the rust that would be a solution to the rust but I don't know if it's worth it, is my well fucked? (I took this photo today and yes there is still snow on the ground where I live). Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated. (I also don't think this meets the requirements of an artesian I think it is dripping from not being used but I don't know)
