I 27 (f) live in UK and have recently been diagnosed with vulvodynia and what they believe is IBS-C (off work since Feb 26) all started in December 2025 on the back of one of the most stressful periods of my life. I am struggling with abdominal pain, fecal impaction, stomach burning sensations and my mental health (MH) as a consequence. I have been prescribed pregabalin (coming off this as made my MH worse) and been taking optibac and Movicol (stool softners) daily. Also been prescribed lidocaine but really confused with how to use this on my vulvodynia. I was wondering if anyone else suffers with both conditions and if anyone has any advice. Trying my best to keep positive at the moment due to my MH so please can you keep your advice positive and informative 😊
Also I have been checked for endometriosis but I don't have the classic symptoms and I have had 2 transvaginal ultra sounds, a CT and Xray scan which has not found any signs of endo or ademyosis either.
