When I visited my dad over spring break I found an old camera. Due to the hurricane his house was flooded and ruined and I’m guesssibg that is what happened to this camera I found. It was very broken and i really couldn’t find a use for it, but I took the sd card to look at. While visiting him I put it into my camera to try and look at what’s on it but it said it was unable to read/use. I continued to use this camera with my regular sd card. Once I got home I put the sd card into my portable dvd player (it also has a card reader, I’ve used it before and I ca normally view pictures and videos just fine) and it started glitching where it normally will say “reading” “loading” “playing” “dvd” “cd” “card” etc, and glitches between “read card” and “rep cancel” with a pause square. This normally does not happen. I decided to try it with my normal sd card and it did the same thing. I then tried both on my camera and now neither sd card will read. I also noticed similar scratches on both after inserting them. I am wondering if there is anyway to recover any of the data or if I just lost all of it. I’m also wondering if I just damaged my dvd player and Maybe even my camera?? Please help.
