Hi all,

I’m a 31 year old teacher of English and French living in Ireland. I’ve taken a career break for next year because my husband and I want to spend a year in France. The main reason I want to go back to France is to really improve my spoken French. Ideally, I would get a job in a bar, shop or cafe next year. I’m just looking for a regular, simple job where I’m surrounded by French people.

My questions:

1. Is Toulouse a good city to move to as foreigners?
2. Is renting expensive ?
3. Are jobs hard to come by?
